Rewards
Velocity does not run an on-chain points or fuel program — Drift’s “Fuel” points/incentives system (per-user fuel accrual, fuel boosts, fuel seasons) was removed for Velocity and has no on-chain replacement.
The protocol-level reward mechanism that does survive from Drift, in changed form, is the referral program: referrers earn a share of their referred users’ taker fees, paid out through an escrow account rather than the legacy epoch-capped path.
Velocity or its ecosystem partners may run time-limited incentive campaigns (for example, deposit or collateral incentives funded by a partner protocol) from time to time. Any such campaigns will be announced separately and reflected in the app — none are documented here because none are currently active or verified as ongoing Velocity programs.
